What do I do if the other party who caused the accident does not have insurance?

One thing to consider is your own auto policy uninsured motorists coverage. Many auto policies have coverage for injuries and property damage if the at-fault driver does not have insurance. It’s often referred to as UM or UIM coverage on the policy declarations. We can pursue the claim just as if the wrongdoer had insurance, and it will be covered by insurance. Our office will investigate and pursue every possible lead on insurance and/or resources to meet your claim.
